Hi Michael

Yes, you met my good friend Dr William Joseph McClelland. He is a remarkable man who does not in any way deserve what happened to him. I have absolute faith that his wealth and children will be restored to him one day. And through his current experience, he will add in empathy to his many gifts, and be a great blessing to all who meet him, as he has been to me.

Cheers!

Dr Christine Cheng

Hi Dr Cheng,
I met a William Joseph in downtown Tampa, Florida Park as we were feeding the homeless. He was a very intelligent person. He said he used to be very wealthy, lived in Singapore, had four children, was married to an Indian women, he also had a laptop as your wrote in the article. I talked with him for quite a while, because His story sounded amazing. I'm a film student and wanted to validate that what he was telling me was true. I figure if he was very wealthly at some time in his life, then I'd be able to find him online. I came across your article, and I wanted to know if this William Joseph I met in the park is the one you're describing in your post. Please get back with me ASAP! I would really like to know more about this William Joseph I met today. Thank you.

Hello Dr. Cheng!

I just stumbled upon your blog here while searching about the practice of aesthetic medicine. Beautician?!! Yup, I heard that before. Someone in my agency said that I won't be working as a doctor but as a beautician! These people really don't know what they're talking about. Well, it's a sad fact that some beauticians do sometimes give some of the treatments that Aesthetic Doctors do which I believe paints a very bad picture of this line of medicine.

Your articles here prompted me to ask for your advice about my medical practice. I am currently working in a luxury liner as an Aesthetic doctor. Even if things do not work out to my expectations in terms of financial compensation, I still must say that I do enjoy the field of Aesthetic Medicine and I would like to be engaged in a formal training on it. What can you advise me about pursuing this specialty? From what I know, there are so many pathways to it and as such, I need guidance on the best way to go about it.

I am a licensed GP from the Philippines and I've been in practice for 5 years now. I just started Aesthetic Medicine practice last month. I had a short stint of training in Miami, Florida and now doing full practice in international waters. But I want to do much more than what I am doing now. My husband is now working in Singapore and we want to stay together. Is it possible for me to practice in Singapore too or better yet have Aesthetic Medicine training there? I am open to anything right now but if there is a chance for a formal training for me there, I would very much prefer that.

Sorry this is such a long one. I hope you can take some time off your very busy schedule to help out a newbie doctor like me. Thanks so much and God bless you!

Dr Cheng, whilst I have little doubt that you are a good medical practitioner and of a high intellect, your employment practices leave much to be desired from a Singaporean's point of view.

Truly at a time when Singaporean workers are facing a severe employment crisis due to a foreign invasion of local jobs, foreign-worker-loving employers like yourself deserve the trouble (and hopefully, large fines) these irresponsible & less than honest foreign workers have caused you for your foreigner preferential hiring policies.

Surely by now, you would somehow realise that foreign workers are only loyal to the larger cashflow, not to you, your business or your ideals, not unlike economic mercenaries, which they truly are.

..and don't give me the excuse that you're unable to secure local workers from a population of 3 million Singaporeans who have been suffering a worsening economic downturn for the last 10 years. Pay a fair, liveable wage adequate for dignified living in Singapore, and you will be swamped with local talents, who will be more accountable to local laws than your transient stray workers from abroad. I would know because I myself employ only Singaporeans and I sleep well at night.

It is expected that all plastic surgeons to discuss fully from the potential complications of liposuction, and what you can realistically result. It can be done from the unrealistic expectations of liposuction, which often caused a lot of accidents for many customers.

Another thing to keep in mind is the shorter hair is visible, and that must be removed, and the best impact for the laser.

Thanks James! At least they gave you the option to terminate (I am assuming without penalty). What I hate most is that I am obliged to continue paying for service I am not getting as one of the locations I am often in gets zero coverage. It took me weeks to figure that out, but at least that saved me a wasted trip to Singtel shop to queue up.

It's most annoying as most of my friends on Singtel stay with them because of the better coverage. I've never had a Singtel mobile phone line, and after this farce, never will unless they give it to me for free. I'm far happier with both M1 & Starhub. i just wish I'd signed on to one of their mobile broadband packages instead.
