Rejuvenating Simply Aesthetic

The winds of change finally shifted towards Simply Aesthetic last week. With the departure of Joey and Candy within days of each other, the energy has changed considerably. Julie has finally settled the spa sufficiently to start focusing her attention on the clinic. And I've been very blessed in being able to persuade an old friend to come in to help organise the place medically.

I first met Celia in 2001 when I went to Cambridge to sub-specialise in Day Surgery. A fellow Singaporean, she was the Sister in charge of the transplant theatre. She also happened to live just around the corner from me! Although we tried to keep in touch after my return to Singapore, the inevitable happened and we lost contact with each other.

Out of the blue, I received a Facebook friend request from her. So I accepted and we sent a few messages to each other. Her comment was that I looked so different she'd never recognise me!

At the end of last year, she announced that she was taking early retirement, and heading home to Singapore. We had planned on meeting up, but never got round to contacting each other till a couple of weeks ago. I realised I needed someone strong and organised to come in to set the procedures right. Without a sensible leader in the clinic, things were spiralling out of control. Previously, we had either Mery or Dyna co-ordinating everything. Since they left, it seemed they took common sense with them too! So we had to come up with procedures & operational policies for everything. Decency & integrity seemed to have disappeared too, and I'd been robbed blind by some of the staff that had left!

So Celia started earlier this week. She's written out the policies and is now organising the chaos the old staff left behind. Julie has removed anything that is remotely scary for anxious patients in our treatment rooms. Jam, our spa receptionist has kindly donated sarongs, to match the bed skirtings, which have finally arrived. The rooms have now a much softer feel, quite different from the minimalistic clinical feel it had before. Every corner is being cleaned, and all unnecessary clutter tidied away.

Staff-wise, MJ is learning to cope with being the only trained Clinic Assistant in place. Marigold, another nurse from the Philippines is finding her feet. Aubrey's pass has just been approved (finally!) and she arrives next week. We have also just interviewed Jam's friend, who is keen on coming in as our Intern.

With the new furnishings in the treatment rooms, the walls suddenly look very bare. So I'm in the process of ordering some prints for the walls. I've chosen a pretty floral theme with frangipannis. These should be up by the middle of next week.

In addition to our new takeaway menus (designed a few weeks ago), we will soon have some posters outside our front door, so it's not so easy to walk past without realising we exist.

All in all, it feels really good to finally move towards the next phase with a new team, and two fantastic women helping me. After years of struggling on my own, it's such a relief to finally have assistance, and I'm truly blessed as both Julie and Celia are power houses on their own right.

Hair Loss Treatment

We often take our crowning glory for granted, but premature hair loss is becoming a very common problem, in women as well as men.

As a result, we've gone through all kinds of hair loss treatments over the past few years, mostly with disappointing results. The brochures and data are always impressive, the science irrefutable, but the results not impressive. Actually, only mesotherapy worked. All other topicals were a waste of space. We went through Minoxidil, Floxia Hair and Ballvic Serum & Shampoo. We don't stock any of these now. In fact, we got the distributor to take back virtually the entire Floxia range as we really didn't think they were as effective as the other medical skincare brands.

So when I was introduced to XL Hair, I was skeptical. If not for samples being available, I may not have even tried the treatment. So when the hair growth was unrefutable after just a month of weekly treatments, I was very impressed!

We've since treated 2 men and 2 ladies. One lady was not compliant with the treatment schedule at all, but just based on the home spray alone, has now grown a very luscious head of hair that is the envy of all around her. The thinning area which occupied her entire crown previously, is barely visible now!

The most recent gentleman, still in the middle of his treatment program, has started sprouting baby hairs in the receding temple area, which has been totally bald for many years now. We had not held out any hope for this area, the prime aim of treatment being to stop the hair loss in the crown area, which was thinning out very quickly. That seems to be responding well too!

So I could't be happier to offer this new XL Hair hair loss treatment at Simply Aesthetic. Finally, we have something that is as effective as mesotherapy, without the discomfort. Infact, most describe it as a very soothing treatment! And yes, I'm drooling... My hair's not thinning by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm lusting after luscious locks too!

In Honour of William Joseph McClelland

This is a private post for Aaron and Athena McClelland. I don't know when you'll stumble upon this post, but I hope that you will sometime in future, and know that I will always be available to tell you more about your father, Dr William J McClelland. I am using every SEO trick I know to enable you to find this when the time is right.

I don't know how much you will remember of him when you grow up, how many lies you have been told. I am just writing this so you can have a glimpse of the real man, someone you should be proud of to have as your father.

At the time that I write this, your father has not had any contact with you for over a month. He's had a year from hell, and he has only kept going because of his love for you. When he was blocked from contact with you just before his 51st birthday (in mid February) this year, he was distraught. He asked your Mum's boss Dr JJ Chua for help to locate you, but he said that you were better off without him. That broke your father's heart.

William and I have been the best of friends for many years. Aaron, you may remember how Ffion and I would visit you every Saturday night & we'd have fun till middle of the night. That was the highlight of the week. for all of us. And I'd have happily continued with that tradition if Rani had not turned cold when she was pregnant with Athena. She made it blatantly obvious that we were no longer welcome.

To keep peace, your father distanced himself as well. He'd been accused of having an affair with me. That's crazy as we'd never had anything other than a brother/sister type relationship. We'd tease, argue, laugh and philosophise the hours away. We understood each other in a way no one else ever did. He was the big brother I'd always wanted, but never had.

It did hurt me that JJ "won" by stopping our friendship for so many years. But just before he was imprisoned, we were re-building our friendship again. We were planning to work together again after the spa opened. So I was devastated to find out just just that big day, that he had been incarcerated.

But let me tell you about your father first. The first time I met him, I had one hell of a headache. He's INTENSE as hell, and arrogant as shit. But his arrogance was not that of the typical Singaporean. He did not ram his importance down anyone's throat, or insist that the rest of the world is inferior to him. No, his arrogance was a knowledge that he had created the perfect life for him. He slept when he wanted to sleep, ate when he wanted to eat, collected every DVD the moment it was released, and was paid a princely fortune to share his knowledge on stage. He was charismatic, knowledgeable, inspirational. Despite his dyslexia and childhood abuse, he had come through and built a career he was proud of, and he had a family he loved deeply. Staying home with the two of you was the most important thing in his life.

He was deeply misunderstood. Being black in Singapore was not easy. People were suspicious of him everywhere he went. But as he knew his stuff, he was respected too. And he loved his designer gear. He wore branded clothes from head to foot, and dressed your Mum up equally well. He was exacting and insisted on his life being exactly how he designed it. And because of that, he came across as being very hard.

And he had the most amazing singing voice ever. He can mimick so many artistes, but his favourite was Michael Buble. He could have been a star if he wanted to, but he decided to use his life to help people become the best they could possibly be, both with his coaching as well as with the right nutrition. I was lucky to have had "private tuition" from him for so many years. And it's a shame you don't have his guidance with you now.

When your Mum told me he'd been imprisoned for beating her up, I was shocked. I was angry that he could suddenly go crazy. What's got over him? But after a few weeks, I suddenly felt something was wrong. Your mum's story didn't ring true. The William McClelland I know would not suddenly go crazy and beat up the wife he loved more than his life. He often said he would kill anyone who threatened his wife. He'd lose his life, go to jail to protect his family.

So when the newspaper reported that he'd gone mad and tried to burn Rani's face and set the flat on fire, killing all of you, I just could not believe it.

When he finally called from ICA prison, I demanded to see him. I needed to find out from him exactly what happened. Your father had never lied to me before and I knew he wouldn't then. And I knew how many lies your mother had told your father over the years too.

When I saw him, I was deeply saddened. He'd lost so much weight that his belly was completely flat. And he looked haggard. Much older than his 50 years. Your father used to have an ageless face. I'd never have guessed his age to be anywhere near 50 before the imprisonment.

The saddest part was your father was trapped by his greatest student. Being a master of NLP and human behaviour, he would teach his skills to those around him. I had some benefit from his generosity, and your Mum had over a decade of training.

She wanted an injunction so he could not stop her from divorcing him. The best way to get an injunction is to get attacked. Best way to get attacked is to make the other party so angry he would fly into a blind rage. With William, that was easy. He wanted his family around him. He wanted Rani to be a good mother to the both of you. So she stayed out. She stayed out late every night for a week. The stories were ridiculous. Working late (re-organising patient notes), visiting a colleague with cancer till midnight then coming back drunk. Going to the market on the day of the incident at 6am and not getting home till late. She would have kept going till he flipped. And as planned, he fell into her trap and lost his temper. She got whipped with a belt, and he was imprisoned. The fire was just a threat. He had no intentions of using it, and certainly would never harm either of you.

Even after his prison sentence and deportation, he still loved her and wanted to get back together with her. She played along with this for a few weeks, then broke his heart. He had no possessions, no money, nothing. Not even spare underwear. And winter in the US was cold. They spoke often initially, then she started to ignore him. He was distraught. And because of his distress, he attempted to take his life a few times. I managed to save him once, but I never know when he will try again, and succeed. So when I don't hear from him for a few weeks, I start freaking out. There's no point contacting your mother as she ignores my SMSes too. I just hope she does let me know if he does ever succeed in taking his life.

The last I heard from him, your father had hit rock bottom. He was homeless, sleeping in the park (even in the rain). He was eating from the trash to stay alive. His laptop (his only possession of value) had been stolen. He was  physically and mentally ill. His family had thrown him on the streets (mother, sister, daughters... no one would let him stay with them for more than a few weeks). He was unable to find a job even after we sent him his certs. No one would hire anyone with a record, however qualified. Especially in the middle of the recession. The visionary who was able to think out of the box better than most had lost all will to live. And I was no longer able to encourage him to stay alive for you. He had not heard from you for over a month by then, with no hope of contact anytime in the forseeable future. And when you think the man's situation couldn't get any worse, his eldest son dies suddenly. Now William has to get from Florida back to Philadelphia to be at the funeral. I pray that that is the last of his bad luck, and things start to turn around for him soon.

My friend Lily (who is Clairvoyant) has seen a bright future for him. She sees him re-united with you, re-married and happy at last. But he needs to pull himself together and move forwards. But he's broken and bitter, and now physically unwell too. Ultimately he has to want to live, and I am afraid that surviving is too hard for him now. He is a very strong man. Most would not have coped with as much as he has.

I really hope that you are re-united with him one day. But just in case that doesn't happen, please know that you father is a good man. He is true to himself, which is something most people would not understand. He is highly intelligent, driven and funny. And as his only friend in the world, I will also be there for the both of you should you need me. Please do not ever hesitate to look for me if you need my help in any way. Just as your father would be there for Ffion, I am here for you.

Frustrated with Singnet Mobile Broadband & Windows 7

A few years ago, when netbooks were just becoming popular, I treated myself to a gorgeous Kohjinsha netbook in white. It had all the bells and whistles, but was crippled by lack of speed. It would drive me crazy, as it couldn't keep up with the speed I type at. And I type with one finger. So I wasted a lot of time trying to correct what I had typed in.

So I finally caved in and went for a mid-sized laptop. The sales guys from Funan all said that netbooks were slow. Go for a full laptop. My friend recommended Acer, so I went for it. At sub $1000 for a Windows 7 model, it seemed like a bargain.

But I hit problems from day one. I used to have problems getting my share of the wireless@sg bandwidth, but with the new computer, it was virtually impossible. After surfing for 10 minutes, it would lose connectivity and error messages will flash up. Something to do with DNS server not responding...

So I felt there was no choice but to purchase a mobile broadband device. I researched the options available from the 3 telcos, and decided Singnet would be the best for price as well as connectivity. Afterall, so many tolerate their high mobile prices because they have the best signal across the island.

When the modem finally arrived, my problems continued. I was still unable to connect to the internet smoothly. Data transfer was super slow. Gmail would not load. By then, I did not know if it was Acer, Windows 7, Singnet or McAffee.

McAffee was he first to be sacrificed. I opted for a total program delete. It made no difference.

Then I called Singtel. This is where it gets interesting. The call gets cut off before I even give them my full details. But suddenly, the modem sprung to life and worked perfectly for about a week.

Then it started to slow down again. I call Singtel again & speak to a technical adviser. He reset the modem, and tells me it's because the bandwidth is unable to support high traffic. Too bad! Shit! And when I was ordering the device, they promised me it would work perfectly! He told me to just reset the device by taking it out whenever it played up. That was last Friday.

Today, surfing was slow in the morning, virtually non-existent in the afternoon. The modem kept losing its connection with Singtel. So I called technical support again. They reset the line, but it made no difference. When they found out I was running Windows 7, they said it was not compatible. I had to download the right driver.

Ironic right? Download a program when I had no internet access?!! Genius!!

So I cart the computer home today, try downloading the update and find the computer can't read that .rar file! WTF!?!!! So call Singtel again. And their advice? Bring laptop & modem to a Hello shop. Queue up. Wait... I don't have the time! I just finished an 11 hour work day. When am I so free to go queue up to sort out their stupid system?!!

Hate Singtel. I feel so cheated by them. How dare they get people to commit to a 2-year contract when they can't deliver the service we signed up for? And when it's faulty, I have to go queue up to hope they can sort it out in one session? Ridiculous.

Me and the Ministry of Manpower

Although I'd love to spend my life doctoring, especially when it involves Aesthetics, realistically I spend way more time doing admin. Recently, the theme has been (yet again) Ministry of Manpower.

Over the past 3.5 years, I've filled in umpteen forms, called, begged, shouted, pleaded... You name it, I've done it!

With the recent spate of resignations, our ads have just yielded Filipino nurses. To be fair, there are a couple of them that are fabulous, and it was really hard pressed to choose one. But as we can't get any local candidates, we've had to take both on.

Correction... Take MOH on twice!

I've always been able to get EPs for my Filipino nurses. Even MJ who has no clinical experience had no problems after a simple appeal. But they changed the criteria again. And now a Bachelor in Nursing, plus State Registration in the Philippines, plus over 3 years clinic experience is inadequate!!! Yikes!

So poor Marigold has been on tenterhooks for the past 2 weeks. I've been tearing my hair out, submitting EP, then appeal, then S Pass, then EP/S Pass followed by appeal. We are still hopeful, but we won't know for another couple of weeks yet.

Aubrey, on the other hand, took me by surprise. Working on the premise there was no way she could get an EP, I went straight for an S Pass. I expected the usual rejection within 5 minutes, but 2 days on, so far so good! We'll find out by the end of next week if she passes. It'll be really ironic if she comes on board before Marigold. But it's cool as she's been waiting for this position for almost 6 months now!

I still feel bad about it. She popped into the spa months ago, and I offered her the post of Receptionist, under work permit. She had to leave the country for us to apply. She was rejected.

MJ was lucky. She turned up a couple of weeks after that, also asking for reception work at the spa. But as we were trying to replace Cha at the time, we took her on in the clinic instead.

Poor Aubrey! But at least she should be joining us soon. Better late than never, especially with the messy situation over the last few months.

So it got me thinking. For this industry, it's virtually impossible to find any local candidates for the job. Yes, I provide training, and we can train someone from scratch. But unless you have the passion, it's a hard battle to get any enthusiasm. And an eye for beauty and common sense is also essential. Plus loyalty. Recently, we've trained up so many staff, only to have them leave once they knew the ropes.

So what of foreign workers? The Filipinos are generally hardworking, keen to learn, speak well and look good. Culturally, they are also more suitable for theservice industry than the standard spoilt Singaporean who only knows how to complain when the service is bad!

With 3 Filipino nurses, communicating with Chinese and Malay speakers will be tough. Julie will need to be pulled in to translate. But as Aesthetics is new to her too, it's not going to be easy. The old staff could just rattle on with me interjecting important points.

But given the situation, MOM really should not make things even more difficult for employers. They know I'd rather hire local. But if no local wants the job, do I just close shop? It was really looking desperate a couple of days ago...

And thinking back, I've had to appeal for most of my foreign workers. Some many, many times. The stress can be extreme. Knowing the right candidate is available, but you can't get approval for them to start work? I wish things could be a lot more straightforward. Businesses already struggle to survive in Singapore. If the government really wants to support entrepreneurship, let us hire foreign workers without such a battle. It wastes tax payers money, saves the environment, and I'm sure it'll save a few bosses from stress-related heart attacks!

In the meantime, I'm keeping fingers and toes crossed that Aubrey's pass will be approved next week and she'll be on board by 1 April. And of course, I'm praying that Marigold will be joining the team soon too...

How To Blog

This is for Julie who sent me a cryptic SMS last night, asking if I have to pay to blog!

I started off with Blogger. In fact, I still use Blogger for my Simply Aesthetic Blog. It's fast, it's free, and you just need a Gmail account to get started. Best part is, it's pretty intuitive, so even a technophobe can set one up in minutes. The template choices are pretty limited, but it's no big deal. Modifying the overall look is easy, with adding elements and rearranging them at a click of a button.

And then there's Wordpress. Also has a free version, but I really don't think there's any advantage over Blogger, and the latter is much easier to use. The "paid" version takes a lot more to get used to it. When I first played with Wordpress 3 years ago, I hated it! BVut now that all my sites are built with Wordpress as the engine, I've comne round to the many advantages, particularly how much Google loves it.

I think this is the type of blog Julie wants. So here's how to go about it!

Step 1: Buy a domain name

The domain name is what people type into the browser to look for your site. It needs to reflect you or your interest if it's a personal blog. Most people choose their names as the domain name of choice. I used to own christinecheng.com. But when I gave it up, it was quickly taken up by another Christine Cheng. So I had to settle for drchristinecheng.com.

For Julie, julielee.com is already taken. Actually some domain name traders have taken it, in hope someone by the name of Julie Lee would buy it off them for a pricely sum. For her, an option would be to try julie-lee.com or julielee.me. The .me TLDs are for personal websites.

My favourite domain name supplier is Godaddy.com. I've used the for years. A .com name costs US$10.69 per year. Namecheap is slightly cheaper (by about US$1), but I find their site less user friendly. Now I will buy my GoDaddy domain names by accessing their site through Dubli's Shopping Portal, and I get a 10% rebate.

Some hosts will provide a domain name for free as part of the hosting package, so I'd just use GoDaddy to source for an available name first.

Step 2: Buy A Hosting Package

The host stores the content of your blog. Hosting used to be very expensive, with limits on data stored, bandwidth transfers, etc. Now it's so cheap that you can even find hosting for US$10 for an entire year!

I've tried a few, but my favourite is Apthost.com. I think they give a free domain name too, but I had already purchased my domain name, so didn't take up their offer. I like Apthost as the server speed is good, minimal downtime, and setting up Wordpress is a cinch!

Step 3: Configuring It All

Once the host has sent you the welcome e-mail with nameserver & access details, it's time to go back to the Domain Name trader to manage your domain name. All you have to do here is set your nameservers to the ones in the host e-mail. The pointing may take some time to be established. Patience is needed at this time.

Then go to yourdomain.com/cpanel and login with the details given in the host e-mail. Cpanel is quite confusing for a newbie. Full of icons! The one you need to look for is a smiley face labelled Fantastico Deluxe. Click on that and it takes you to an installation page. On the left side, thre's a column of numerous applications it can auto install. Look for Wordpress. Click on that & fill in the options. The only ones that matter are e-mail (choose your own rather than default), blog name and blog description. The just save and exit.

Step 4: Configuring Wordpress

If you go to www.yourdomain.com, you'll now see the default Wordpress template. Ugly blue thing. And a Hello World message. To change all this, you'll need to go to www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin. This is the control centre of your blog. From there, you can add theme, search for a nice one and install. You have hundreds of free themes to choose from!

Then you can add in plugins and widgets to personalise your site.

After that, just add posts and blog away!

That's a very abbreviated version of how to set up a blog. Blogger's easier, right? I had so much help from Shi (my SEO coach, buddy of many years and Chef Trainer of Finggle.com) and Thomas, my web designer. Then attending a couple of courses and reading a huge book gave me essential "aha" moments. I'm no expert, but I can now set up a blog from scratch in a couple of hours. Being anal about aesthetics, choosing the right template is what takes longest. Then it's prety much a case of installing & activating my favourite plugins, and I'm done!

Qi Gung for Weight Loss

Fitness

I've always associated aerobics and weight training with weight loss, yoga with flexibility and tai chi / qi gung with meditation. Probably totally incorrect and a major over generalisation! So I was pretty intrigued when my friend Colin (a Holistic Healer) mentioned that Qi Gong could be used for weight loss! He first mentioned this during our Chinese New Year dinner. A time of great gluttony & excess. So we were all ears!

A month later, we finally get round to organising a class! First class is scheduled for this Wednesday, from 7-8 pm at Divine MedSpa. It's my night off, but I'm tempted to stay back just to experience this for myself, especially since we've been missing our Wednesday afternoon yoga sessions for so many weeks now.

Fancy joining us? Just call 67325578 to reserve your place! See you there!

It's A Great Time To Be Forty!

I was reading this article in the electronic Daily Mail today: The future face of 40: Botox, fillers and high-tech face creams all mean the Big Four-0 doesn't look like it used to. It succinctly sums up the reality of how being 40 isn't much of an issue in this day & age.

I know that hitting 30 was hard. I really agonised over it for a good couple of years until it happened. With that, the ageing process began, with sun damage and dull skin becoming apparent. I never did succumb to "old" clothes and fought like crazy to avoid looking fat and frumpy.

And then "Aesthetics" happened. Thank God for that! So my third decade was dedicated towards reversing the ravages of time. I remember one Dermatologist condemning my face as a veritable library of dermatological disease. That was at the start of my aesthetic training. After numerous peel, jabs and zaps, plus buckets of potions, I'm happy to say that I definitely look better now than I did 5 years ago.

For me, it's just part of the job. Reading the article in the Daily Mail, I see that without a bit of help, it'll soon be really obvious those who do, and those who don't. The ones that make the effort to look after their skin will have an ageless appearance. Those who don't, are resigned to being forty and frumpy. And the divide will continue to increase as the current 40s hit their 50s.

The joys of accessible aesthetics! I love this industry!

Search Analytics

My friends who are seriously into SEO are obsessed with keywords & how people find their websites. I should be too, but I do get a little lazy about this aspect of web maintenance. However, the amount of SPAM comments I've been getting on this blog has been quite fantastic. So in a fit of boredom, I decided to access my Google Analytics account to see what the real deal is.

For a relatively recent blog revamp, especially one with no major theme at all, I was quite surprised to see that over 600 visitors came in the last month. Half of them were referred by search engines.

Then it gets really interesting. Not just the search terms used to find the page, but how long the visitor stays and how many pages are visited.

Not surprisingly, some of the traffic was from people looking to find out more about me. So variations of Dr Christine Cheng and Simply Aesthetic. There was one search for Christine Cheng Plastic Surgery. Sorry, wrong website, me no Plastic Surgeon. Amazingly, there is another Dr Christine Cheng in the USA who is a Plastic Surgeon and I believe owns a medical spa too. Or maybe there are 2 stateside... Another was searching for before/after pictures of my work. Sorry lah, between patient confidentiality issues and MoH breathing down my neck regarding having any pictures at all on my website, there's no hope in hell of finding any of my aesthetic work online. You'll just have to come visit me!

Then many searches relating to lo hei phrases, Batam day trips, dermarollers, even one for massage for fat angmoh! And the best of the bunch? Someone trying to find out more about my husband! Hahaha! Put you out of your misery lah! I'm swinging single with no man in sight! ;o)

Oh well, I guess this little exercise hasn't really helped define any direction for this blog, other than being a collection of my ramblings when the mood strikes. Which, I guess, is what blogs started off as being about.

I Want To Be A Doctor!

When I was at Thomson Fertility Clinic yesterday, the surgeon brought in a young lady with aspirations of becoming a doctor one day. She'd sacrificed her entire holiday to observe at one clinic after another. And from this experience, she's more determined than ever to become a doctor.

I remember those days too. From the very young age of 3, I'd set my sights on medicine, and nothing was going to stand in my way. I was warned about the many years of study, the numerous exams. But nothing actually prepared me for medicine.

Fast forward to 2010 and ask if I'd change my mind knowing what I know now!

The first few years as a junior doctor are terrible. No one prepares you for the long hours, lack of sleep, seniors that expect you to be pychic, nurses that want you there now, all 10 at the same time. Plus studying for exams with a massively high failure rate. And for some of us, young children too.

And this phase lasts 10 years for Specialists, assuming no hiccups on the way.

I have no regrets with my career choice, but I am glad that I have had the courage to expand my possibilities. Anaesthesia on its own would have bored me to tears. Especially in Singapore where the Specialty is not respected.

So what do you say to a young innocent who wants to go into medicine without knowing what it's like to be sleep deprived and yet have to think clearly at all times? Will they laugh when I tell them I've worked for 6 weeks without a single weekend off?

My seniors were laughing when I complained about nervous exhaustion. They just recalled their own stories of how they almost crashed their cars driving home after a night on call, how one of their friends fell asleep and didn't even know he was being burgled because he left his front door unlocked...

So I'm loving Aesthetics. It's rewarding, fun, happy medicine. Some call it frivolous, but I don't really care. I take far too much pleasure in taking care of my clients and helping them look their best to worry about those who daren't go off the beaten path.
